Just some christmas-ramblings

Good evening everybody!

Today I went to my therapist and had a session. It was an emotional one, not really feeling like going there again next week but oh well. By the way, I got there 1 hour and 30 mins early, haha. I sat in the waiting room reading, so it was pretty good after all.

I'm very tired today but luckily I don't even have to leave the house tomorrow. I just got some cleaning to do and make lunch. Can't wait for the christmas break!

Makeup for New Year's Eve

Orange crush

The first thing that I think of when I see this is actually "autumn". If you look close, you can see some glitter in there. That's exactly what makes it so good for New Year's Eve in my opinion.

Gilded glam

Here's a very outstanding eye makeup! The glam and the golden colour really makes it look so festive and ready-to-party.

Large chunks of glitter

And here we've got chunks of glitter. I love glitter and what suits New Year's Eve better than glitter? I also think that the mascara has a huge effect on it, and the eyebrow.

Burnished-Red eyes with Pink Glitter Lips

A more full face-look, with bernish-red eyes and some sort of glittery lips (to be honest it doesn't really look like pink to me, what do you think?). This makeup suits the model very well, but I'm unsure whether it would suit me or not (and whether I have the skills to put it on like that, haha).

I don't have a glittery eyeshadow but hopefully it'll be easy to find the closer we get to the new year, right? I'd love to look something like this on New Year's Eve, my favourite one is "Large Chunks of Glitter".

What makeup are you gonna wear (if you're going to)?

Concert (Kent) and Stockholm

Yesterday, at the 16th of Dec I went to a concert with my favourite Swedish band Kent. They're having their last tour ever today. Anyway, I've got some pictures from the evening I want to share!

I love this Pusheen christmas sweater! It's so cute. The line was too long though so I ordered it online instead.

Teas... bought the macaroon-one second one from the left!

I was in Stockholm with my dad to see the concert and I had such a good time! I've ordered photos from it to be developed, and then I'll put them on the wall in my room. Wish I could show you some of the videos from the concert, but I deleted them all from the phone (oops). But you should check Kent out, I've heard they're good even though you don't understand what they sing!

Tea and shopping

Okay so I found this awesome rainbow-coloured choker when I was out today, I'm so happy!

I also bought a power bank, perfect for the concert tomorrow so that I'll be able to take lots of photos and record.

I tried a new tea I haven't had before - raspberry and chocolate (along with a gingerbread heart).

Now I'm going to go pick out my outfit for tomorrow - a dress or a skirt? Or leggings? I don't know yet, but I want to feel fancy tomorrow, that's for sure. I'll give you an update on clothes and the concert either tomorrow or on Saturday, yay!

DIY: decoupage

I did decoupage on two candles the other day. I chose a napkin (isn't it cute?)...

...and cut out the part I wanted to use. Then I used a spoon and another, lit candle, and held the spoon over the candle to make it hot. I put the teddy I had cut out on the candle I was going to use and used the hot spoon to melt it together.

This is the outcome!

I'm going to give the candles to mom as a christmas gift. Decoupage on candles is such an easy thing to do and if you have some pretty napkins it can't go wrong! I'm so happy that I did this since I was very happy with it and I'm sure mom will love her candles (because what parents, or anyone really, doesn't like it when they get something hand-made by yourself as a gift?

Christmas shopping with grandma

The day started off in the morning at mom's job where me and her were met by this! It was so nice of her co-worker to have bought this for her job (thank you!). So, a nice start of the day that was!

Moving on, after seeing my therapist, me and grandma went to town to do some christmas-shopping. I found some Yankee Candles and some books and clothes. I'm wishing for a gift card on either a bookstore or at H&M. Okay, I'll show you my favourite piece of clothes I found!

(A pair of overalls.)

At the end of our shopping we went to a café to have a snack.

I've had a wonderful time today, and I could really tell that grandma had missed me. She even told me that she had been longing to see me and it was so fun to see her smile and enjoying our time together. Love you grandma xx

Blogmas: favourite christmas snacks

Christmas cactus cookies

Personally I find these cactus cookies adorable! I guess if you make them yourself maybe it won't turn out just as perfect as in the picture, but hey, home made-looking cookies are the best! If you want to make them, click here for the recipe.

Santa Hat Crispy-Treat Cheesecake Squares

I love chees cake and strawberries, so how could this fail? It looks heavenly! And to make it a bit more fun, it does look like Santa hats. How about making them faces too? I can imagine how cute it'd look! Here's the recipe for these ones.

Christmas Brownie Trees

Okay, maybe they don't look exactly like a real christmas tree would look like, but it's made of brownies! I love brownies and making them into christmas trees is a lovely idea. It would be so fun - and yummy - to make and have these at home. And if you want to make them, then here's the recipe.

Yellow all the way

Left to Right: Delpozo, Coach, Jason Wu, Erin Fetherston, Creatures of Comfort, Kate Spade New York

Fashion, fashion, fashion. I found this article on elle.com about the fashion trends in spring 2017

This was one of the trends, and it certainly caught my attention. First of all, wearing yellow isn't that common - right? Well, at least not in the way they're wearing it. So that's a reason why I looked at it a bit more, but also because I think it's really good-looking!

Especially the last one, Kate Spade New York. I love the coat over the yellow - and gorgeous - dress.

The first one, Delpozo, is also special. Maybe something I'd wear to a special event, but not an everyday-outfit for me.

Creatures of Comfort is also a nice one, definetily something I'd be able to wear in the summer!

Which outfit do you like the most?

Blogmas: christmas gift ideas for her

Coconut body butter, $24,95
Source.

Here's a body butter because honestly, who doesn't love body butters? And coconut! I bet this one smells heavenly. Plus, I read on their website, by buying this body butter you help disadvantaged communities. Isn't that awesome?

GLOW ON Holiday Set, $99,00

This set of skin care products from iloveskininc.com will help you to get that "youthful glow" and even skin, it says. Personally I find the box and the colours really pretty so I'd be happy to get it just to look at, haha! But I'm sure the products are great as well.

Gossip Girl: The Complete Series, $51,99

Getting the complete series of Gossip Girl would be an amazing gift for any fan, right? I'm a fan of the series House MD and I have the complete series - great to watch at night or when being at home sick!

Yankee Candle Limited Edition Housewarmer Jar (Santa's Candy Castle), $18,99

Here's a scented candle (for some reason the picture won't show, go check it out in the source-link instead xx), and to add to the awesomeness, it's a christmas scented candle! Just looking at it makes me fall in love and my christmas feeling to be at the best.

I hope you liked my christmas gift ideas for her! Have a lovely evening.

Lazy Sunday

Good afternoon beauties!

Today is a lazy Sunday. I'm reading Air Kisses by Zoë Foster and watching TV.

Today's breakfast was oat porridge with raspberries, yummy! Tonight's dinner is a soup, hopefully I'll get a good shot of it so I can show it to you guys.

Christmas market

Today I went to a christmas market with my mom and brother. I bought white tea with a taste of raspberry and cream, and a vegan recipe book (I'm so excited to try it out - especially the breakfast porridge!). Found a super cute "christmas tree"-candy which I didn't buy but just had to take a photo of.

Trying a new chocolate

I bought this Iced coffe & mudcake chocolate today. I'm not a fan of coffe so I guess I was hoping for the mudcake-taste to taste more. It's not one of the most yummy chocolates I've tasted but if you like iced coffe and chocolate, this is definitely something you should try!

Blogmas: Five festive jumpers

Jumper no. 1: Florence Reindeer Pom Pom Christmas Jumper

I really like this one! It's so cute and funny. I've been looking for a Christmas jumper for ages and this is kind of what I'm looking for - something funny that also looks original. No boring Christmas jumpers here!

Christmas jumper no. 2: Christmas 3D Snowman Jumper

This one might not be as "christmasy" as no. 1, but I still think it deserves a spot in this list. Why? Simply because it's adorable! Imagine wearing it with your bf/gf or giving it away to them, wouldn't it make their heart melt? Mine definetily would!

Christmas jumper no. 3: Jack & Jones Merry-Christmas Crew-Neck Cotton Jumper

This one is cute, with a little santa on it. For some reason I have an easier time imagining a boy wearing this, maybe it's because of the dark colour? I don't know and honestly it doesn't matter - I wear whatever I want to wear, whether it's boys' or girls' clothes. Anyway I thought it was a cute jumper!

Christmas jumper no. 4: Joyeux Narwhal Christmas Sweatshirt

This one looks really cozy to me. One of those over-sized sweatshirts that you never want to take off once you put it on. Also, the narwhal on it is so cute!

 Source.

Christmas jumper no. 5: Red Olaf Xmas Jumper

Here's another red jumper - with Olaf from Frozen on it! Is there any snowman that's more adorable than him? I think having this jumper for Christmas would make someone smile, because who doesn't just love Olaf? (Or maybe I'm just overly-obsessed with him?)

So these were my top five Christmas festive jumpers, hope you liked it!
